Have you ever set a list of things you’d like to do before you die? One on my list has been to run a marathon. I’ve been looking forward to running the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco for a while now and figured: what better way to run than for a reason?
I joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training to physically train myself to endure a 26.2-mile run, and to raise money for an amazing cause.
My goal is to raise $2400 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LSS). The money you donate not only goes to fund research, but it also financially helps families deal with the cost of hospital stays and medication, which as many of you know, can be substantial.
***NOTE: FOR EVERY $5O DONATION TO THIS CAUSE, YOU WILL HAVE YOUR NAME PLACED IN A RAFFLE FOR PRIZES LIKE A FOOTBALL SIGNED BY 49ERS’ MIKE IUPATI AND A SPECIAL EDITION PRO BOWL FOOTBALL. This is a great reward for you 49ers fans and an awesome idea for a Christmas gift!
Once you make a donation you will be given a receipt and Tax ID number to use next tax season. In other words, DONATIONS ARE 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

I hope you will find it in your heart to contribute to the fight against Leukemia & Lymphoma. May you realize success in your own endeavors, and may we all go the distance to cross off things on our life’s list of things to do before we leave this place. Thank you for your support.
Go Team!
